Built on a decade in construction.

I’m Fin, founder of Fins Fitouts. With over a decade in the construction industry as a carpenter, I hold both my builder’s licence and carpentry qualification. That experience gave me a strong foundation in craftsmanship, attention to detail and how to deliver work that actually lasts.

Construction isn’t just something I did before van building. It’s the backbone of how I approach every Fins Fitouts build.

How it started

It started in a few driveways.

Fins Fitouts started pretty organically. A few mates asked if I’d help with their van conversions, so I started building custom fitouts in their driveways on weekends.

The more I did it, the more I realised this was something I genuinely loved and something I could do for a living. The mix of precision carpentry, custom design and building functional interiors was too good to pass up. So I decided to do it full time and turn it into a proper business.

Now it’s the full build.

Today I work with customers right across Australia, building custom fitouts for campervans, vans and four-wheel drives.

Every project gets my full attention — from 3D design and custom cabinetry through to off-grid electrical systems, plumbing and the complete fitout. I also work with skilled plumbers and electricians to make sure specialist systems are installed properly and to the right standard.
